TITLE: FPGA Development Boards and Software for Universities

Low-cost  FPGA  development  boards   are   now   available   for
universities  from Enterpoint Limited.  The base version board is
priced at $90 US and contains  a  400,000-gate  Xilinx  Spartan-3
FPGA.   Other  boards  are  available with up to 2 million gates.
Moreover, each board comes bundled with free development software
from  Synplicity.  The  software  consists  of  the  Synplify_Pro
synthesis tool and the  Identify  RTL  Debugger  tool  which  are
included  at no charge for five years via Enterpoint's University
Access Programme (UAP).

Just something to clarify.  The  Synplicity  license  comes  with
packs  5,10  or  20  off  of  Raggedstone1  only  and  is  to the
university and not to individuals.  It is also for non-commercial
use only.

We have discounts on these packs and order codes and pack pricing 
is here.

If you need any more information please do ask. We also have some
other products like Tarfessock1 (Laptop Cardbus) and Darnaw1 (PGA
module)  coming  that  may  be  of interest more to students than
necessarily to universities.
