SRC/SIA are pleased to announce the 2007-2008 SRC/SIA Design
Challenge and would like to invite universities to form contest
teams and enter this exciting contest.
Open to all North American Universities, the contest offers
$68,000 in cash prizes as well as the opportunity for teams to
fabricate your designs in Jazz Semiconductor's 180 nm SiGe
technology.
The theme of this contest is "Performance at the Limits" and
seeks innovative designs of high performance.
The contest sponsors include Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.,
Cadence Design Systems, Freescale Semiconductor, Inc, IBM
Corporation, Intel Corporation, Intersil Corporation, Jazz
Semiconductor, LSI Corporation, Mentor Graphics Corporation,
National Semiconductor Corporation, NVIDIA Corporation,
Semiconductor Industry Association, Semiconductor Research
Corporation, and Texas Instruments Incorporated.
The deadline for initial proposal submission is September 4, 2007
at 3PM Eastern.
