Why I have taken this class
  • First of all, I would like to say system level design and their circuit level implementation is really exciting to me. System level design and circuit level integration of the designed system require the thorough understanding of CAD tools, process technologies and finally the device behaviours. I have gone through the syllabus of the course ECE651 and it really makes me glad that this course will cover all of the above features. These would certainly help me to be a potential candidate in the future job market. In some of my previous courses, I did some basic digital and analog circuit design using AMI 0.5um process. By taking this course, I hope and believe, I will learn all of the design issues to design a system-on-a-chip (SOC) including effcient floor planning and layout of each block.I think this course will help me lot in my future to be a successful circuit designer.
